My wife and I took a wonderful trip to her mother’s home island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We planned to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary there and visit with her mother and ailing grandmother. Unfortunately, her grandmother (Mama) passed just ONE day prior to our arrival. So it turned out that we were able to help prepare for the funeral the following week. I must say in the island they can put the FUN in Funeral because it was a big celebration of her life and you could feel/see the impact she had in her community. This post is dedicated to Marjorie A. Moore (1923 to 2010) “You are where you always wanted to be, but will always remain in our hearts”.
